My husband has, thankfully, after 2 long months, been on day shift for the month of December!
As the end of December is quickly approaching, I'm trying to soak in every minute of him being on days. The police department rotates every 4 weeks, so basically each month; day shift (7a-7p), night shift (7p-7a), and power shift (3p-3a). Power shift might as well be the same as nights, but I haven't experienced that one yet. He was supposed to be on power shift in November but remained on straight nights instead.
So yes, I have been loving this month not only because of the Christmas season, but because I get to actually spend time with my husband and see him every single day.
